WW II Imperial Japanese Navy / Army MORSE CODE SIGNAL KEY VERY RARE
This was used in conjunction with the Type 94 Radio and other signals communication equipment! Accurate intelligence and secure lines of communication were critical to all armies during WW2. The Japanese Army and Navy personnel utilized a wide variety of radio receivers and field telephones in all theaters of operation. One of the common pieces of Equipment was a Morse Telegraph Key, which could be used with most radios. The advantage of the telegraph, was that the signal traveled twice the distance than that of voice signals. Made of brass, steel, and bakelite, this Morse Code Telegraph Key is in EXCELLENT used condition. There is some slight wear and marks due to the age but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. Full Kanji Markings remain on the top. A very typical Japanese design. No damage or missing parts, so most likely still functional! Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or restoration project!
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
