Vintage N&W Caboose Oil Lamp Original and Complete w Royal AP Burner Very Rare. This is a lamp that was used in the Caboose of trains in the early 1900's. They were fastened to the wall and the circular part of the bracket held the oil reservoir and burner, then the shade was attached and finally the coiled bracket was use to keep the chimney from falling as the Caboose rocked back and forth going down the tracks. They don't use the Caboose on trains any more but this is a piece of history that has been preserved. This lamp is all original and has not been restored.
It is missing the glass chimney and the cap for the oil reservoir. As you an see from the pictures, it is in great shape with a little surface rust and some dust.If you are a Rail Road collector you need this in your collection!
