Vintage'Imperial Treble' Tobacconist Pipe display & 12 Pipes From The 1950's - Very Rare. Here is a vintage (1950's) tobacconists Imperial Treble Pipe display stand.

It's from a tobacconist in Londons West End that closed a number of years ago. Items that are exceptionally rare and potentially one of a few remaining are a privilege to temporarily have and to learn about their rich history. These would be an amazing addition to any personal collection or would also look great in a commercial setting. This is a very rare opportunity to own such an item.

The display case would've either been a static item in the shop or potentially used by a salesman to showcase the pipes. This case holds 12 pipes, the details are below of each but none of them have been smoked. Usually I'd add lots of measurements for pipes but this would make the description very lengthy. All are marked -'Imperial Treble London Made'.

The pipe in the bottom of the 7th pic has no model no. The treble pipe was innovative for its time, the triple system formed of some clever gadgetry in the stem was to provide a cooler and cleaner smoke.

Was founded in 1901 through the merger of several British tobacco companies. In 1902 it went into partnership with the American Tobacco Company to found the British American Tobacco Company. Any questions, please just ask.
