Very Rare Variant, Royal & Military Order Of St. Hermenegild, Commander's Star

Very rare antique variant of this Royal And Military Order Of St. Hermenegild Commander's Star (No Crown) This authentic antique medal established in 1814 over 200 years ago. Is nicely toned and in excellent condition, the enamel is completely intact without any damage, the reverse side has both teeth/hooks intact, hinge and catch all original, it measures 2.5" x 2.5" This would be a great addition to any military collection. NOTE: The horse and Saint Hermenegild on the Shield are facing left which is very rare.

This is because at the time of Alfonso XII and Isabel II, in Paris, they were manufactured in this way for the Spanish troops.
