Woman from Greenland, a glazed porcelain figurine made by Royal Copenhagen, designed by Carl Martin-Hansen in 1924, #12224, this piece manufactured in 1953. It is marked on the underside with the impressed letter N for 1953, First Factory Quality, and there is a letter "U" over the word Denmark. It is a hard paste porcelain standing figurine of the woman in traditional garb, minutely detailed in polychrome overglaze decoration, and measuring. The base on which she stands measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".

The small one is 5 inches high. No damages or repairs were found.
