VERY RARE Old Master Irish Drawing George Barrett Sr. (1730-1784) Royal Academy

A Very Rare and beautifully rendered 18th Century ink wash drawing by. Barretts Ink works are incredible rare to find.

He was a very talented artist and collaborated with may famous artists of his day. He became very famous in later life for his watercolour and Gouache works as well as his ink wash paintings.

This painting has a very appropriate period Lemon Gilt frame that does show its age and is matted in a nice hand painted French mat. Size framed: 18 x 15.25 inches. 10.25 x 8.25 inches.
