VERY RARE Antique Edwardian British Royal Opera House Silk Programmes 1903 This is an original silk from the Royal Opera house in Covent Garden. The date is Tuesday, the 7th of July 1903 and is for a gala performance by the command of his majesty the king in honour of the first visit of the president of the French Republic.

God Save The King and La Marseillaise? Are both performed followed by excerpts from Rigaletto, Carmen, and Romeo et Juliette.

Most importantly the silk has been framed and so has maintained. Great condition as you will see from the pictures. There are a couple of very small marks but this is one of the best conditioned silks we have seen. Please see photographs for more details.

We have included one photograph with an A4 piece of paper so that you can get a sense of the size of the frame. The frame is in solid condition however we would probably recommend reframing as it is over 40 years old. We will package and post safely and securely to you on completion.
