Royal Copenhagen Blue Flower Curved, very rare Monteith. A Monteith is a large glass cooler used for coming down the glasses used for dessert wines. Ice cubes are put into the bowl, and the glasses are put in upside down.

The glasses are then all cooled down, and the dessert wine can be served in the correct temperature. Some also use this for holding egg cups and serving egg in. There are room for 16 glasses or 16 egg cups.

The factory mark shows, that this was made between 1923 and 1928. Length 11.7 inches 29.8 cm. , width 8.5 inches 21.8 cm.
