Franklin Mint/D4C 1930 CADILLAC V-16 LWB IMPERIAL SEDAN. LIMITED EDITION in 1:24 scale. This model was produced in a VERY limited quantity of only 800 pieces for the Diecast Car Collectors Club (D4C) by the Franklin Mint, and as such, is EXTREMELY RARE, and highly desirable. THIS is the one the collectors want and keep!
As can be seen in the photos, this one is in magnificent condition! I cannot be 100% certain, but it appears that this one has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED!It is in IMMACULATE condition! It is virtually flawless, and in nearly pristine condition! The Tan over Brown two tone paint is very slick and glossy, and just gorgeous throughout! The subtle orange pinstriping around the beltline matches the wheels perfectly, and sets the two tone off very nicely. There are no flaws to note, and the paint looks exceptional!
It really must be seen in person to fully appreciate it! D4C could not have picked a more perfect color combination for this car! It is truly a classic and a beautiful car, and the pictures do not do this justice! The details on this car are just lovely. The chrome shines, and is in excellent condition!The interior is spotless, and looks brand new! And the details within really need to be inspected closely for all of the little nuances! The rest of the car looks spectacular as well. All of the emblems are in like new condition! The windows are clean and clear.
A really neat feature is the fold down rear luggage rack, which functions perfectly, and the four opening doors, including the two rear suicide doors! The metal door handles on each door are.The car is intact in every way, and all parts are present and functional. The orange spoked wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel, and the bright, striking color complements the exterior paint color combo SO well! The Hang Tag is attached to the underside of the car. There is no other paperwork. Again, these are INCREDIBLY RARE, and getting harder to come by, and here is an opportunity to own one at a very reasonable price.
