Florsheim Imperial 93637 93639 8.5 B Kenmoor Longwing Gunboat 1968 VERY RARE

Very rare and collectible Florsheim longwing variant from the late 1960s. This is either model 93637 or is mis-marked and is actually model 93639 (Chestnut). Original 5 nail leather soles with v-cleat heels.

V-cleat on edge of heel and date code AI= 1968. Outsole measures 12 1/4 long and 4 1/4 wide. Please note that Florsheims from this era tend to run a bit wide (the outsole on these measures the same as an 8E pair I have in a separate listing).

The original soles have moderate wear and are rock solid. Heels have moderate to heavy wear. Insoles have light wear with Florsheim logos still quite visible. On the uppers, there are a few small surface blemishes and discolorations visible upon close inspection. Storm welt and stitching are in great shape. I have tried to photograph any issues, please view the photos carefully. Shoes have been cleaned and conditioned using Saphir shoe products.
