This is a Duncan Royale "Civil War" figurine from the History of Santa collection. It is 1ST / 500, VERY RARE!! The figure is part of a LIMITED EDITION collection first released in 1983. It depicts Santa Claus in a patriotic, Civil War-era uniform of a dark blue jacket with white stars and red-and-white striped pants. BThe larger versions of the figure measure approximately 12 inches tall. The collection explores the historical and cultural origins of Santa Claus figures from around the world. Other editions of this Civil War Santa (later numbered editions) depict a more reffined Santa as standing in a slighly more erect position holding a gift. Here he is slighly hunched over the bag and his is a more prime version of Santa... Making this one unique among these collectables. THIS IS A 1ST EDITION / 500.....
