Dinky toys aeroplane #60a Imperial airways Atalanta 1st issue aircraft very rare

This listing is for a very rare Dinky toys England #60a Imperial airways liner'Atalanta' model aeroplane 1st issue type dating from around 1934 in the rarer red with cream finish. Overall the condition is quite good with a very large amount of the original paintwork still present. There is some rusty coloured discolouration to the cream finish and especially the wings and I don't think this can be improved by much cleaning.

There has been a repair to one side of the undercarriage, see pics 6 and 7, probably caused by hard landing. Two glued repaired breaks in tail, see pic 8. Overall still pretty good shape though, see pic 4. Only a few fatigue cracks. Very rare in this colour scheme.
