BEULAH LONDON PALEST POWDER BLUE SABITRI SILK PINTUCK DRESS. This design by Beulah London was shown in media images in 2011. Fine pure silk georgette fabric in an ethereal, palest blue shade, pintuck detail at waist bodice, dainty self fabric covered buttons at bodice, neckline and cuffs, pleated detail at shoulders. Long sleeves with pleated cuff detail.

Enerally good condition for its age. A few very small faint light stains that are not noticeable. Here and there so the dress is not perfect, but no significant damage apparent. The slim interlining has slipped down inside neck/shoulder in a few small sections, behind the front georgette which is sound. An easy fix for a seamstress. So in summary, the dress is not totally perfect, however it is basically in good sound condition. For any smaller size, this dress can be adapted by a seamstress and so there is the potential to create something wonderful, and an exact match, complete with belt, using the excess fabric, for the famously worn dress. Probably to best fit UK14/US10 approx as these Sabitri dresses by Beulah are generally small fitting. The dress can obviously be worn by any smaller size and tailored to fit exactly and any excess fabric used to create a belt by any seamstress, if you so desired. A very graceful and serene piece.
