This is and extremely rare Yashica vintage telescope from 50 s´. According to my research, this instrument is probably the most sophisticated and best vintage 60mm. Telescope ever made in Japan, with the most complex Ecuatorial mount produced in this country for this size of telescopes. This astronomical telescope is so rare, that even experts consider that Yashica, a reputable and historical photo camera maker from Japan, never had a telescope. But Yashica had a few telescopes, so few that there are almost impossible to find. That is why this telescope is not just a sampler of the best technology achieved by Japanese engineering during middle XX century, but a curiosity that prove that Yashica really has telescopes with his brand. This model has not only the most sophisticated ecuatorial mount you can find in a Royal Astro telescope from 50/60 s´. But even the rarest one, really hard to find. His particular Ecuatorial mount has been made during the end of 50 s and beginning of 60 s and then has been replaced for a more common one.

This telescope has a star finder and an adjustable wooden tripod. All lenses and prisma are in perfect condition 60 mm.

All mechanical parts have been cleaned and oiled. In very good condition and complete, with slight signals of use consistent with age. A really exceptional instrument for demanding collectors.
